TapSound ("we," "us," or "our") operates as a fully offline, serverless mobile application. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data within the application.

1. Data Collection and Transmission: NONE

• No Personal Data Collected: We do not collect, store, track, or monitor any personal data, usage statistics, or device information.
• No Internet Transmission: TapSound operates 100% locally on your device. It does not require or use an internet connection to function. No data is ever transmitted to external servers or third parties.
• Local Storage: All application configurations, user-defined macros, and custom shortcut settings are stored securely and encrypted only within your device's local memory.

2. Device Permissions Used

To enable device-based automation features, TapSound requires access to the following hardware components. All processes are handled completely offline:

• Motion Sensors (Accelerometer & Gyroscope): Used solely to detect physical device actions (such as shaking or flipping the phone) while the app is active in the foreground to trigger your selected sound files.
• Proximity Sensor: Used solely to detect hand wave gestures over the screen to trigger automation actions.
• Storage / Media Access (File Picker): Used only when you choose to browse and select custom audio files (.mp3, .wav) from your local device storage to load into the app.

3. User Control and Data Deletion

You retain absolute control over your data. Since all files and settings are saved locally, uninstalling the TapSound application from your device will permanently and completely erase all configuration settings and data associated with the app.

4. Children's Privacy

Since TapSound does not collect any personal data or transmit information over the internet, it is completely safe for users of all ages, including children.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect app updates. Any modifications will become effective immediately upon posting the revised policy on this page.
